The "Abdhidhamma Day" ceremony took place this morning at
Dhammananda Vihara, Half Moon Bay.

The "Metta Vihari Chanting Group", was joined by the attendees in
the recitation of the "Pathana". Kudos to the members of the group for
providing the chanting at [almost] every ceremony hosted by TBSA.
Interested readers should see a special report compiled [by "Naw Lay"
(Noleen) and edited by Sayadaw U Osadha] for the 10th anniversary of
the founding of the group.

According to teaching of Sayadaw U Silananda, TBSA has again
successfully hosted a Buddhism class for kids in summer of 2007. The
class started on August 4 and ended on 11. Led by residence Sayadaws,
six volunteer teachers passed knowledge to 87 students who attended the
class. TBSA was able to accomodate some students in the camp and the
rest of them commuted to the class. It was indeed a great commitment
to learning from students and parents.
TBSA would like to thank Sayadaws, volunteers, donors and parents
who put extra effort to make this program successful. Let's keep up
the good job every year!
