Our Generous Supporters,

On behalf of the Board of Directors and members of Theravada Buddhist Society of America (TBSA), we offer our metta (loving kindness) and mangala (blessings) that you may have an auspicious, prosperous and a happy New Year.

We are extremely delighted and grateful for your kusala (meritorious deeds) in the form of monthly pledges and donations (in cash and kind) for 2010. We rejoice and say "sadhu, sadhu, sadhu " ("Well done", three times) for your role in the perpetuation of the sasana (Buddha's dispensation) in general and the Dhammananda Vihara in particular. We appreciate your heartfelt support and contributions (physical, mental and monetary) to help us continue the dhamma works and projects of our beloved mentor Dhammananda Sayadaw U Silananda. In addition to the monthly weekend retreats and the Summer Dhamma Camp for children and young adults, the first ever year-end course and meditation retreat for college-bound students was held in December 22- 25, 2010. May we request for your continued support for a long time to come (especially year 2011) for the propagation of the sasana in the Bay Area and beyond.

Due to the power of the Triple Gems — Buddha (the Enlightened One), Dhamma (His teachings), and Sangha (Monastic order) — may you and your family members be protected from all kinds of enmities and dangers; may all of your good desires and wishes be fulfilled; and may you always enjoy perfect bliss, health, wealth and tranquility.
